Hope and Challenge – We Always Come Through!

Once again, I am posting this article.  It seems more timely that ever.

Wildfires and hurricanes continue to devastate large parts of our country.  The displacement of businesses and families has put a severe strain on every facet of their lives.  Routine to get back in business, and rebuild their home cannot happen overnight.  Yet we are a country that always rises to the Challenge and works to help the families and businesses who have been affected by these crises.

As companies and contractors have been brought in for the Disaster Recovery to clean up the debris and start the rebuilding of almost every part of our infrastructure, Hope and Challenge face each one of them at every stage.  The tasks are overwhelming.  The first stages of cleaning up need to be done quickly, to prepare for the companies repairing the roads, rebuilding the power infrastructure, much of which has been destroyed, plus all other utilities which have to be made safe again.  The pressure to get these done means bringing on more crews, working overtime, and more supplies. Can you even imagine the pressure on the people and companies working to extinguish the wildfires?   Amid all this, the basics of running a business continue, such as making payroll, equipment repairs, insurance, fuel bills, and rent. These don’t wait, but you are waiting to get paid.  With everything going on, you don’t need the added stress of erratic Cash Flow, or, just waiting to get paid, so you can pay your bills.

Do you really have time to start making calls to find out where your payments are?  Chances are, you’re on the phone getting more people and crews lined up for the next stage of your work.  Consider using factoring for steady predictable Cash Flow.
